What a wonderful weekend we had around home. Saturday was an absolute joy as not one child threw a fit nor fought with each other. When rewarded with camping in the backyard, the kids were beyond thrilled!
Let's just say Taylor was the only smart one that made the move to her comfy bed while the boys roughed it out on the ground.
Jesse felt he could endure a night on the hard ground due to all of his field experience.....
I even offered to set up the air mattress, but the inner soldier came shining through.
Ask him how his back is feeling today:-)
We then ventured into our backyard of DC.
We had no plans of where we were headed, we just walked along to find some pretty neat/non-crowed Sunday spots.
For some reason, this weekend brought back memories of all the weekends I spent alone with the kids....wishing Jesse home.
Not a dime was spent nor a moment was missed.
