Our move just keeps getting better and better. Jesse wanted me to document in case we forget the pain. You know how after you give birth and the pain hurts so much, you say you are done having kids.... And then you quickly forget and end up with 3 more? Yup, this exactly like that. We know how painful moving is, but we keep having to do it over and over.
Our bad luck streak continues even in the North Country. (Btw....just read Kim and Kayne named their baby North....really?!). Housing will not have a house for us until mid-late July. That's if we don't get kicked off the housing list first. According to Fort Drum rule, you are only allowed to sit on housing list for 60 days before they kick your butt to the bottom of the list. We've been sitting at number one for 30 days now.
Since we won't have a house soon, it's hard to plan for the older 3 kids to come here. Not just due to living in a camper, but the fact that in a couple weeks I'll have my next treatment and won't be able to care for them. Our plan is completely ruined. My mom was supposed to fly back with them and help out with all 4 during the week of my after awfulness. But without house....no place for all 7 of us to be. Now trying to figure out how to get back to DC and care for Blake after next round. Jesse you might say. Um no. He's not allowed any time. None.
Housing has left us up the creek without a paddle. The Fort Drum campground screwed up our reservation. Which left us camp less today. I had to delay my drug intake by 2.5 hours today. We needed to move our home on wheels and 2 cars. Needless to say, we drove in circles for 2 hours before finding a new place to camp. I learned what my pain feels like without drugs for a few hours. It was not a pretty sight. Me behind the wheel with eyes full of tears. This neck thing really bites.
We are now camping 45 minutes from Fort Drum. Just when Jesse was getting excited about not having a commute! We miss the kids so much. Taylor had a rough phone call last night. Broke my heart in a million pieces.
I'm trying to keep my head up. But my homeless...treatment coming around again....factor is making my head droop. Someone. Throw. Us. A. Bone. :=(
