Tonight at dinner, here is a bit of our conversation. Note: Mom made dinner and it was wonderful. The best part was I didn't have to make it! Why is it that food is better when you don't have to make it? (Okay yeah, it might be me as the cook, but when it comes time to eat after an hour of making..I am over the food!)
Me: Aiden, get your foot off the table now!
Aiden: Hee haa...okay Mommy.
Me: Aiden, get your foot off the table, that is your second warning. One more and you are in your room. (Aiden cannot handle the corner as that does not work with him. With him, he goes straight to his room)
Aiden: Okay, Mommy as he puts his foot back on the table. Up to his room Aiden goes!
Me to Taylor: You kids need to be in tip top shape before Daddy comes home.
Taylor: Shape like a square or circle Mommy?! Triangles are my favorite though!
Laughter fills the air... and yes, Aiden did get to come out of his room and no foot went back on the table. I wonder if it was the square or the circle that made him listen?
