With no sleet in sight all day....just rain, we spent the whole day locked inside listening to Taylor pick on her brothers. And how did we know it was her causing all the trouble? Other than this house being very small, every time one of her brothers would start crying or screaming...she would run fast for the staircase leading to her room. Her classic give-away to Jess and me that she is guilty.
Finally around 4pm, the snow started falling here. It just makes me think of growing up in MN and how hard it was to get a snow day from school. It would have to be almost death outside for our district to cancel school. Here in VA, there just has to be a "chance" of snow and all is shut down. I will give VA the benefit of the doubt as of now...the news is showing the traffic nightmare that is occurring on the roads around our home and the heavy snow that is gathering on the ground. The temp for tomorrow is supposed to be 36 degrees and partly sunny. School already has a 2 hour delay for the morning.
Mom--You are living/teaching in the wrong state. See how many days off school you could have here?!

Snow days are few and far between here as you know. I can't wait to meet our new grandchild. She'll be beautiful like her mom (at 32 weeks!).
