What A Ride....

9 Years Ago Today....

We started our life together!

The day after we were married,

we flew back to Alabama for Jesse to finish Flight School.

We packed up all of our wedding gifts..

made our first move to the island of Oahu, HI.

Added Clyde to our lives...

First Year Married...

Deployment Orders arrived to Afghanistan right after....

We found out we were pregnant with our first baby!

But I had to move home to live with Mom and Dad...

While Jesse endured his year deployment..

Taylor Rae came into the world without her Daddy there to greet her....

But he made it home on a 14- day leave a few days after her birth..

Before having to say goodbye for another 6 months.

Seeing Daddy for the second time...

At the Welcome Home Ceremony at

Wheeler Army Airfield, HI.

Made the move to Arizona,

for Captains Career Course...

Welcomed Aiden Michael to our family!

Bought our first real Home in Colorado...

Aiden was just 4 months old.

Welcomed Gavin Jesse.. 13 months after our move.

2 weeks before Daddy had to leave for war in Iraq.

Daddy Home..

after a 15 month Deployment

Moved from Colorado...

Started General's Aide Job in Kansas.

The kids and I lived in MN...

for 2 months while we waited for our next home in...

Platte City, KS.

Only lasted 6 months before....

Jesse was promoted to BZ Major.

And was accepted to the Master's Program at

Georgetown University.

Made the move to our first house in the DC area.

aka...Mold House.

Then to Haymarket, VA.

To end up...

On post at Fort Belvoir..

All within 1 year!

Welcomed Blake Christine!

And Charlie...

A year after Clyde passed away.

9 years later...

Happy Anniversary Jesse!

It has been a wild, crazy ride...

but one I couldn't imagine doing with any other..
